Youth Work in BCF

Young people are an important part of BCF. Although we value being intergenerational, we also recognise the need for young people to have their own space to grow in relationships with God and each other.

Cells/Tribes

The primary way this happens is through youth cells (also known as ‘Tribes’). Most young people of Secondary School age are part of a cell. These meet on a weekly basis, normally in people’s homes.

Other Events

There are a number of other regular and occasional events that take place for young people in BCF. Highlights include ‘Space’– a youth-led event, which brings different cell groups together on a regular basis; an annual Youth Weekend; and a new initiative called ‘Roots’– a gap year style discipleship course, for those still in school.

For more information about any of these things, contact the BCF Office.

Also, check out the Youth section in 'Community' for the latest news, information and pictures on what’s going on with young people in BCF.
