Local and International Links

We have good relationships with a growing number of local Bristol churches through church leaders’ meetings and cross-church events. Specifically, we are part of the network of churches “City Celebration”.

We have strong links with churches in the South West who are part of the Pioneer network.

BCF’s global vision means a commitment to sharing resources with other nations of the world through practical and financial relief as well as personal teaching and training with partner churches.

Children at Mutende

In recent years, for example, the Fellowship has sent individuals and teams to work in France, Germany, Cambodia, Croatia, Romania, Kenya, Zambia, South Africa, China, India, Malaysia, Uganda, the USA and an island in the Indian ocean. Many teams and individuals have helped at 'Mutende', a children’s village for Aids orphans in Zambia which we have helped to set up. We have worked in partnership for many years with a group of churches in India. We have also raised considerable sums of money to aid disaster relief as well as longer term redevelopment schemes. One creative project involved the production of a calendar for 2002 and again for 2004. The specially commissioned artwork was produced by BCF members and included paintings, ceramics and photography, the profits from the calendars are used to fund the children’s village in Zambia.
