Children’s Work

About BCF > Children & Youth > Children’s Work

Bristol Christian Fellowship believe that children are not only an integral part of the Church today but also our future church leaders. We have a variety of meetings aimed specifically at the under 12s through which we hope to equip these important Christians in everything they need now and in the future. These include Sunday morning meetings, cell meetings and other activities.

Energise

Once a month on a Sunday we have a large celebration meeting for children aged 12 and under where we worship Jesus, learn and have lots of fun. This meeting includes dramas, puppet sketches, games, crafts, singing, dancing, praying, praising and all sorts of other fun things. It is intended to be an entertaining but informative meeting where the focus is on Jesus whilst enjoying ourselves.

The Junction

Twice a month on a Sunday the children enjoy worship together, (sometimes with the adults) before splitting into small groups for studying the Bible in more depth. These groups are based on school years so that older children are studying more advanced topics than the younger children. The groups follow the same themes so siblings can discuss them between themselves.

Hullabaloo

Once a quarter on a Sunday we hold a second children’s celebration meeting with a different set of leaders. Hullabaloo, like Energise, is a fun meeting where we worship Jesus, learn and enjoy ourselves.

All Age Meetings

We have regular all age meetings at BCF where adults and children are together for the whole meeting.

Creche

Every Sunday a manned creche is available for very young children.
